Ministry of Machinery Industry standard valve type preparation method

This standard is applicable to industrial pipeline gate valves, globe valves, throttle valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, diaphragm valves, plug valves, check valves, safety valves, pressure reducing valves, steam traps, plunger valves. 


1. The valve model preparation method is as follows:

2. The type code is indicated by Chinese pinyin letters, as specified in Table 1.

Note: Low temperature (below minus 40 degrees Celsius), insulation (with heating layer) and valves with bellows are added separately before the type designation

3. The transmission code is indicated in Arabic numerals, as specified in Table 2.

Note: (1) hand wheel, hand incompatible and plate hand drive and safety valve, pressure reducing valve, trap omit this code.

(2) For pneumatic or hydraulic: normally open with 6K, 7K; Normally closed form 6B, 7B; Pneumatic belt hand use 6S watch

The explosion-proof electricity is indicated by "9B". The worm T-shaped nut is represented by 3T.

4. The connection form code is indicated by an Arabic numeral code as specified in Table 3.

Note: The sealing surface material code of the valve seat directly processed by the valve body is indicated by "W", when the sealing surface material of the valve seat and valve disc (gate)

At the same time, it is indicated by a low hardness material code (except diaphragm valves).

Seven. Nominal pressure value, according to JB74-59 "Pipeline accessories nominal pressure, test pressure and working pressure" provisions. For valves used in power plant industry, when the maximum temperature of the medium exceeds 530 degrees Celsius, the working pressure shall be marked according to Article 5 of JB74-59.

8. The material code of the valve body shall be indicated by Chinese pinyin letters, as specified in Table 15.
